Hello
I'm Jennifer, and for the past 15 years, I've dedicated myself to achieving and helping others attain optimal wellness. Throughout this journey, I've balanced raising a family and building a fulfilling life, facing various challenges along the way. My passion runs deep in my desire to help people live happy healthy lives. My parents and grandparents have always been my idols, the way they lived left an impression on me, it gave me a sort of compass to navigate my life by. Growing up my mom and grandmothers were my strong female role models and still are today even though two of them are gone.
I spend my days soaking up my family and enjoy being active and outside in nature as much as I can. I am constantly seeking out fun and interesting things to do with family and friends. A huge passion of mine is traveling, and I say traveling versus vacationing because not that I do not love to vacation, who doesn't, but traveling is my passion. I love to immerse myself in other cultures, meet new people, eat their food, and engage in wonderful conversation.

Through all my experiences in life I have gained valuable insights and tools to life's obstacles, I have learned to apply my hands-on experience and education in my daily life. I implement this practice in my workshops and teachings to help you transform daily habits into pathways for you, your employees, or your patients to achieve optimal health and success.
My Story
My journey …what seems like a lifetime ago… I worked full-time after I graduated college and was about to get married. Then after being married, traveling, and working on our careers we decided to start a family. I decided to take a break from full time work so I spent the next years juggling my children, working on our fixer upper, teaching numerous fitness classes, personal training and I even decided it would be a great time to start a side business in Wellness. Life went on with its normal ups and downs, some days I felt like I had it all, I was on top of the world, other days I was completely exhausted and didn’t know how I was going to get through the week. Life takes turns we never see coming, and that is its beauty, it keeps us on the edge of our seats begging for more. And then there are moments like this, what happens to me next, I never saw coming.
While I was busy balancing life, I was stopped in my tracks. One Sunday morning my husband was rushed to the hospital where he spent the next two weeks in ICU, to keep it short the next few years had its obstacles. Despite this we were a young family, and we still found many joys through the hardship. Fast forward five years we were on the upside of our struggle, we could see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we were running towards it.
And then, yep, you guessed it …another blow, I had a chest x-ray to see if I had pneumonia, no big deal I thought, but I was in for a shock. The doctor called me and said “Well, you don’t have pneumonia, but they see a blur on the x-ray and want you to go in for a CT scan, it’s probably nothing but let’s make sure.” And honestly, I really wasn’t too worried, I was young, and in amazing shape. Again, to make a long story short, the CT scan showed a mass, they thought I had a form of cancer called Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, but it turned out I didn’t. The news when from bad to worse, after a PET scan they thought I had Stage 4 lung cancer, what?!?! How is this possible, I have never smoked a day in my life, and for heaven sakes most would even consider me a health nut! Yikes, now I was scared. All I could think about is not being around for my children. I was freaked out!! Fast-forward a couple months past all the testing, surgery, etc. and I was cleared, I did not have cancer, I had a mass formed of a rare growth of nerves. I was down half a lung due to the surgery and couldn’t have been happier…. whoo-hoo I get to live! Stage 4 lung cancer had a 11% one-year survival rate for my age group…I just got a second chance at life, and I was going to soak it up…every darn second of it! And so, life continued.
The kids were getting older, I went back to school, we traveled when we could, and like everyone else embraced the good times and weathered the bad ones with as much grace as we could muster. Covid hit, I finished my master’s degree, and I found my way into lifestyle medicine and wellness coaching with board certifications.
Today I decided I want more; I am growing that small business I dreamed of when my kids were little into something grand. I am finishing what I started years ago and bringing my passion to you, building something the world needs. And when I look back I will find satisfaction having met new people, ventured into pursuing my passion, and checked off another box on the “I wish I had” list. So, I invite you to be part of my journey starting now, as we embark on unsteady ground, let's leap into our next adventure and grow together. At the end of our road, we will not be one of those still wondering, we will have taken the road that others chose to avoid and we will be better and stronger because of it.
